The European Invasion: Myths and Realities
With Speakers Dijana Mitrovic
and Sean Herrity

In the early 1960s the so-called “British Invasion” referred to the musical movement of primarily British groups—most notably The Beatles—arriving on America’s shores. Sixty years later, is war in Eastern Europe, sky-high energy prices and recessionary pressure sparking a “European Invasion” by small EU companies looking for stability and growth?

Takeaways:

  • Two experts share their knowledge and first-hand experience: Dijana Mitrovic, CEO of Las Vegas-based DM Global Consulting, and Sean Herrity, Founder of Austin-based US Trade Consult, LLC (and IERG member).

  • Much has been said on the topic in articles and at chamber of commerce cocktail parties: learn what is myth and what is real.

  • Identify commercial possibilities though understand the key issues and opportunities these companies face when considering upping their stake in the US market.
