IERG is a professional networking organization founded in 1997 for business executives with significant international experience. It is the only business organization that requires members to have held leadership roles outside of their home countries for substantial periods of time.
IERG executives are C-level or report to C-level executives and have considerable expertise in one or more function, discipline and region. Members come from diverse nationalities, geographies, and industries, and represent a range of organizations, from Fortune 500 companies to entrepreneurial ventures. Know-how of global markets is the unifying force that ties members together.
IERG operates through a global umbrella organization managed by a Board of Directors, Chapters located in select cities, and Special Interest Groups organized around specified industries, functions, geographies, or other interests. Activities include in-person and virtual meetings on international topics, professional initiatives that promote international business and understanding, and social events for members and the broader business community.
IERG is a member-driven, volunteer-run 501(c)(6) non-profit corporation. Membership is by invitation only and is restricted to executives with demonstrated global leadership experience.
