The China Chapter of IERG is dedicated to raising awareness of Best Practices and "lessons learned" in China business, and to sharing information on emerging opportunities and developments in the business environment in China. Members are senior-level professionals with up-to-date experience in China business, as well as those interested in updating or acquiring China business experience. They are willing to help other members as well as the larger China business community. Members are also expected to develop contacts and opportunities and to attract guest speakers.
The China Chapter is the first of its kind organized outside of the U.S. Its activities are driven by the needs of members with recent commitments to China. Core events will address practical, hands-on problem-solving, emphasizing case studies by companies with major or up-and-coming operations in China as well as thematic issues which impact China business operations. Possible topics include Best Practices, case studies, and business issues.
In sum, this Chapter’s objectives are, to:

Provide networking contacts for job leads and business opportunities in China business

Deliver value to executives in transition as well as those currently employed

Supplement the resources available from existing China groups

Become a self-sustaining group within IERG
