IERG Leadership & Organization
IERG is a relationship-building organization of experienced executives from around the world whose careers have been enriched and honed in the global arena. The men and women of IERG have gained seniority in diverse functions and disciplines and in organizations that range from Fortune 50 corporations to specialized professional partnerships. They meet, both in person and over the Internet, to share their knowledge, best practices and to support and advance each others' careers and interests.
The International Executive Resources Group (IERG) was founded in 1997 in New York City as a one-of-a-kind volunteer, not-for- profit organization of senior business executives from around the world and whose careers were temporarily in transition. The group has grown from a handful of men and women who met bi-weekly in Manhattan to an association with more than 500 members across the country and the world. Regular meetings are now held not just in New York but also in Boston, China, Connecticut, Miami, New Jersey and Southern California.
IERG's growth, beyond being a support group for executives in transition, results from the appreciation by members of the value inherent in the multiple relationships generated through membership. IERG members include CEO, Presidents, Managing Directors and others with major responsibilities. Their common denominator is significant experience on both the domestic and global marketplaces --North America, Europe, Asia, Latin America, Middle East, Oceania and Africa-- to conquer the challenges and seize the opportunities that are intrinsic to commerce and finance in the 21st century. The specific disciplines of its members cover the full spectrum of skills and experiences an organization requires to thrive in todays global environment.
Business functions found among IERG members include, among others: accounting, communications, finance, general management, human resources, information technologies, legal affairs, logistics, manufacturing, mergers and acquisitions, logistics, marketing and sales, public affairs, etc. Members participate in diverse functions such as regularly scheduled general meetings, regular gatherings of Special Interest Groups (SIGs), and special functions that combine a featured speaker and ample opportunity to network and socialize. Further contact is supported through IERG's own website (www.iergonline.org) and a steady stream of e-mails to those members who have opted for subscriptions in three targeted communication tiers: a list of contributed career leads, a stream of information useful to the interests of our global colleagues, and a request board to elicit input from the broad inventory of knowledge and experience resident in our membership base.
International Executive Resources Group, Inc.(IERG) is a 501(c) (6) non-profit corporation. Membership in IERG is by invitation to senior executives with demonstrated global experience.
